I am a lover of Jesus, a pastor's wife, a bearer of 3 beautiful children, and a teacher at heart... in that order. :) I have been happily married to Greg for 12 yrs. I have 2 handsome boys (Isaac 8, Joshua 6) and one beautiful little girl (Karis, 2). Although I love my students, my kids are my favorite students to have.
I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Liberal Studies degree and received my credential and graduate degree at Azusa Pacific University with a Masters in Education with an emphasis on Teaching.
I have been teaching in So Cal for 13 yrs. I taught 3rd grade for 5 yrs, 1st grade (God bless 1st grade teachers!) for 1 yr, and am currently on my 7th yr teaching 2nd grade. I LOVE my second graders!
I love life and have a constant "movie" in my mind...hence the title of this blog. My husband says that my whole life is a movie and my classroom is my stage. Lol. He is right! Although I am known to be a "strict" teacher (so... I like order a little....ok, ok.. A LOT.). I enjoy having fun in class because, well... learning IS FUN! I love finding creative ways to teach my students, especially when I can add it to a chant or wear my "ghetto" hat and rap it. :) Can you just imagine this little Chinese girl rapping? Yup! It also brings a smile to my face when I hear my students doing it, too. They are learning AND having fun!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you will enjoy reading these snapshots of my life in and outside of the classroom.
So great to meet you yesterday at our Blogger Meet-up! Hopefully, next time we can set up each other. I loved reading your about me. Have a wonderful week!

Hi Angela,
ReplyDeleteI purchased your Mega Bundle for the First Grade Houghton Mifflin Series and I believe there are a few pages missing from Theme 3. Could you correct me if I'm wrong? I don't see Vocabulary picture/definition cards for the story Seasons. I also don't see a page for the season Fall. Is this a mistake?
Thank you!!!
Hello!
DeleteThe Voca/Pic card for Seasons is in there. It should be on page 61 and on. Also, originally there was no vocab word card for "fall" since it was not listed as one of the vocabulary words in the story (weird, I know), but since I've had a couple of requests for it, I added it to the resource. Please download the latest version on TpT.
Thank you for believing in my resources!
Have a great day!
Blessings,
Angela
